Recap: Los Angeles vs. San Francisco

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Hunter Pence had his second career game in less than a week, smacking a grand slam and finishing with seven RBI as the San Francisco Giants dismantled the Los Angeles Dodgers, 19-3, in the third portion of a four-game series.

The Giants erupted for 22 hits and produced the most runs by an opponent in Dodger Stadium's 51-year history.

Pence's big output came four days after going 4-for-5 with a home run and six RBI in a loss to the Rockies, but on Saturday the slugger got some help from his teammates, namely Brandon Belt, who also homered and set personal bests with five hits and six runs driven in.

Tim Lincecum (10-13) benefited from the outburst and picked up the win after surrendering three runs on five hits across six innings of work.

The Dodgers dropped back-to-back games and still have a magic number of four to win the NL West. Adrian Gonzalez drove in a run in both the first and fifth innings and Alex Castellanos smacked a pinch-hit solo homer in the fifth.

Ricky Nolasco (13-10), who had won his previous seven decisions, was roughed up to the tune of seven runs -- five earned -- and was pulled with just one out in the second inning.

He surrendered three runs out of the gate, with Belt and Pence each singling in a run and Brandon Crawford working a bases-loaded walk.

Don Mattingly mercifully pulled his starter after watching him serve up consecutive two-run hits to Pence and Pablo Sandoval in the second.

"As good as Ricky has pitched, he had one bad outing. I can't be too concerned about him," Mattingly said.

Belt pushed the margin to 8-1 with an RBI single in the third, and Pence made it a laugher with his fourth career grand slam in the fifth.

Belt tacked on a two-run homer in the seventh and a two-run double in San Francisco's three-run eighth, and the visitors pushed across three more in the ninth for good measure.

"It was a special night. We played well in all aspects," Pence said. "Tonight was the product of a lot of guys doing well."

Game Notes
