St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - Friday's game between the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals has been postponed due to multiple forecasts of approaching extreme weather.

Giants ace Matt Cain was slated to duel with Cardinals rookie Shelby Miller in the opener of a three-game set at Busch Stadium.

The game will be made up on Saturday as part of a day-night doubleheader. The first game will start at 1:15 p.m. ET and the nightcap will begin at 7:15 p.m.
