Recap: Arizona vs. Chicago Cubs

Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Welington Castillo hit a two-run homer and Darwin Barney knocked in a pair of runs as the Cubs eked by the Diamondbacks, 7-5, in spring training action.

Chicago's projected Opening Day starter, Jeff Samardzija, was touched for four runs on four hits over 4 2/3 innings, though he did hit a solo home run.

Adam Eaton and Didi Gregorius each went deep off Samardzija, while Trevor Cahill had a solid outing for Arizona, giving up one run on three hits while striking out five over four innings.
