Recap: Arizona vs. LA Angels

Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Alfredo Marte hit a three-run home run in a big seventh inning to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks in a 7-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

Eric Chavez hit a solo home run and Eric Hinske added two RBI for the Diamondbacks, who scored all their runs in the seventh inning. Ian Kennedy gave up just two hits and a walk with eight strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings.

Kaleb Cowart drove in the lone run of the game for the Angels, who had just four hits in the game. Jered Weaver was charged with just two hits and a walk with three strikeouts over seven innings of work.
