Recap: Arizona vs. Cincinnati

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Homer Bailey yielded just one hit over six shutout innings in leading a Cincinnati Reds split squad to a 9-0 decision over the Arizona Diamondbacks in an exhibition tilt from Chase Field.

Bailey gave up only a third-inning single to Cliff Pennington and a walk to Gerardo Parra later in the frame. The right-hander added seven strikeouts in his final outing prior to the start of the regular season.

Ray Chang went 2-for-2 with three RBI for the Reds, who will host the Los Angeles Angels on Monday's Opening Day. Chris Heisey added two hits and a pair of RBI to the rout, while Todd Frazier finished 2-for-3 and chipped in a run- scoring single.

Arizona starter Wade Miley worked six innings, surrendering four runs on nine hits while fanning three.

The Diamondbacks begin the regular season at home against St. Louis on Monday.
