Recap: Los Angeles vs. Kansas City

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Yasiel Puig hit a two-run home run to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers in an 8-1 rout of the Kansas City Royals on Friday.

Puig finished the game 3-for-3 with three runs scored while Juan Uribe went 4- for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Dodgers. Stephen Fife gave up a run on three hits with two walks and four strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.

Alex Gordon had two hits and an RBI for the Royals, who saw starter Yordano Ventura give up three runs on five hits in three innings of work.
