Recap: San Diego vs. Los Angeles

Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Duanel Jones tied the game with a two-run homer in the ninth inning, and Travis Jankowski won it with an RBI single to give the San Diego Padres an 8-7 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jankowski's single plated Tommy Medica, who singled and moved to second on Sawyer Carroll's pinch-single prior the winning hit.

Will Venable smacked a two-run homer and had three RBI for the Padres.

C.J. Retherford had a two-run triple as part of a five-run eighth inning for the Dodgers.

Aaron Harang was touched for six hits and five runs -- four earned -- over four innings for the Dodgers. Padres starter Andrew Cashner tossed the first 2 1/3 innings.
