Recap: Boston vs. Boston College

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Shannon Wilkerson and Dan Butler each hit two-run homers, lifting the Boston Red Sox over Boston College, 11-1, in spring training action.

Mauro Gomez went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored for the Red Sox, who finished with 11 hits. Jonathan Diaz knocked in a pair of runs and scored a once in the win.

Red Sox starter Koji Uehara, who did not record a decision in 37 games last season for the Texas Rangers, gave up two hits in one inning of work. Junichi Tazawa got the win despite giving up one run over one frame.

Matt Pare knocked in the lone run for Boston College.
