Recap: Boston vs. Pittsburgh

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Andrew McCutchen had a pair of RBI and Jeff Locke pitched four innings, as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Boston Red Sox, 9-3, in Grapefruit League action.

Locke gave up one run on three hits, walked two and struck out three.

Michael McKenry went 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored for the Pirates, who recorded five doubles among their 11 hits.

Boston's Jon Lester also tossed four frames in his outing. The left-hander allowed a run on two hits with three walks and three strikeouts.

Pedro Ciriaco had two hits and scored a run for the Red Sox.
