Recap: Pittsburgh vs. Boston

Bradenton, FL (Sports Network) - Gaby Sanchez hit the go-ahead two-run homer and Michael McKenry added a solo shot for insurance as Pittsburgh topped Boston, 4-3, in Grapefruit League play.

Neil Walker added a solo homer for the Pirates. Starter James McDonald snagged the win by giving up four hits and two runs with six strikeouts over five innings.

Ryan Lavarnway drove in a pair of runs for the Red Sox, while Clay Buchholz allowed Walker's blast in five full frames.
