Recap: Minnesota vs. Boston

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Will Middlebrooks belted a three-run double in the second inning to help the Boston Red Sox take a 7-3 decision over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday in spring training action.

Jacoby Ellsbury added an RBI and scored twice, while Mike Napoli and Mike Carp each knocked in a run for the Red Sox, who saw starter Ryan Dempster allow one run on three hits and two walks over four full frames.

Chris Parmelee clubbed a solo home run for the Twins. Minnesota starter Mike Pelfrey was tagged for five runs on six hits and three walks over two innings.
