Recap: Kansas City vs. Seattle

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Stefen Romero collected four hits and drove in seven runs, as the Seattle Mariners pounded the Kansas City Royals, 12-2, in Cactus League action.

Romero hit a grand slam in the fourth inning and launched a three-run homer in the ninth.

Casper Wells also clubbed a three-run homer and added an RBI double for the Mariners, who dealt the Royals their first loss this spring.

David Lough hit a run-scoring double off Seattle starter Felix Hernandez.

Peyton Manning will have to make do without his blind-side protector for the 2015 season, as the Denver Broncos announced that Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday's OTA session.
