Recap: Colorado vs. Seattle

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Kendrys Morales and Justin Smoak each hit a solo home run as the Seattle Mariners took a 4-3 win over the Colorado Rockies in the final preseason matchup for both clubs on Saturday.

Raul Ibanez and Brad Miller each drove in a run in the eighth inning for the Mariners, who got four innings from starter Brandon Maurer as he gave up two runs on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts.

Seattle starts its regular season on the road at Oakland on Monday.

Troy Tulowitzki and Todd Helton each had a solo homer and Jordan Ribera drove in a run for the Rockies. Jeff Francis lasted six innings in the start and gave up two runs on five hits.

The Rockies start their season in Milwaukee on Monday.
