Recap: Baltimore vs. NY Mets

Sarasota, FL (Sports Network) - Nate McLouth clubbed a pair of solo home runs and Miguel Gonzalez combined with five Baltimore pitchers on a 1-hitter, enabling the Orioles to complete their spring training slate with a 7-1 win over the New York Mets.

Chris Davis added a two-run homer and Steve Pearce delivered a solo shot for Baltimore, which will open the regular season Tuesday at Tampa Bay. Both McLouth and Davis finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the victory.

Gonzalez yielded the Mets' only hit, a Marlon Byrd single to begin the top of the fifth, and permitted one run while striking out four over a sharp five- inning stint.

Byrd scored New York's lone run on Ruben Tejada's sacrifice fly. Mets starter Dillon Gee was reached for three runs on six hits over the first four innings, with Jeremy Hefner serving up a pair of homers and allowing four runs through two innings of relief.

The Mets will head north to host the San Diego Padres on Monday's Opening Day.
