Recap: Philadelphia vs. Baltimore

Clearwater, FL (Sports Network) - Freddy Galvis clubbed a two-run homer as Philadelphia overcame the early exit of starter Roy Halladay to post a 5-3 win over Baltimore in Grapefruit League play.

Halladay departed after one inning with what the team called a stomach virus, where he struck out one, walked one and allowed one hit.

But six pitchers, including winner Jeremy Horst, combined to hold off the O's. Horst tossed scoreless frames in the fourth and fifth, fanning two and giving up just one hit.

Domonic Brown added two hits and an RBI, with Ben Revere and Erik Kratz driving in a run each for the Phillies, who wore their traditional green jerseys.

Steve Pearce homered and L.J. Hoes added an RBI double for the Orioles.

Jason Hammel took the loss, charged with six hits and four runs over 4 2/3 frames.
