Bradenton, FL (Sports Network) - Clint Barmes hit a two-run home run to guide Pittsburgh to a 9-2 victory over Atlanta in Grapefruit League play.

Darren Ford and Brad Hawpe each drove in a pair of runs while Clint Robinson had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI for the Pirates, who got two hitless innings out of starter James McDonald.

Jason Heyward hit a solo home run for the Braves, who saw starter Julio Teheran allow just one walk over two innings. David Carpenter gave up five runs in the sixth inning.
