Recap: Pittsburgh vs. Toronto

Bradenton, FL (Sports Network) - Carlos Paulino singled in the deciding run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Pittsburgh Pirates a 5-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in a Grapefruit League bout.

The Pirates trailed 4-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth, but pulled within one on Felix Pie's leadoff homer and forced extra frames when Josh Harrison came through with an RBI ground-rule double with Pittsburgh down to its final out.

Harrison had an RBI single in the eighth as well, while Starling Marte finished 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Bucs.

Pittsburgh starter James McDonald worked 5 1/3 innings, surrendering three runs while striking out five on the afternoon.

Mike Nickeas went 3-for-4 with an RBI single for Toronto, with Adam Lind driving in the Blue Jays' other run as part of a 2-for-3 day at the plate.

Mark Buehrle threw the first 3 2/3 innings for the Blue Jays and yielded just one run on four hits.

Extra Points: Snyder and the Beltway radio wars

If contradiction was an Olympic sport, Chip Kelly would certainly be medal-worthy judging by his performance at the NFL's owners meeting but the Eagles coach might have to settle for silver because Daniel Snyder's critics will take the gold every time.

2015 PREVIEW NL EAST: It's the Nationals and everybody else

There isn't much after that. The Miami Marlins are loaded up for a playoff push -- likely through a wild card spot -- and the New York Mets are up-and- coming but still raw. The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies, former powerhouses of the division, are going through rebuilds and won't contend anytime soon.
