Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Miguel Cabrera belted a two-run homer and plated a third run with a groundout, as the Detroit Tigers posted a 4-1 Grapefruit League victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Tigers finished with only three hits, including an RBI triple by Jeff Kobernus. Detroit starter Drew Smyly tossed three no-hit innings.

Pittsburgh starter Jeanmar Gomez was tagged for four runs on three hits and walked three in his three-inning outing.
