Recap: San Diego vs. Cincinnati

Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Jedd Gyorko clubbed a solo home run to help the San Diego Padres earn a 7-5 decision over the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday in spring training action.

Chase Headley, Yasmani Grandal, Travis Buck, and Alexi Amarista each added an RBI and a run scored for the Padres, who saw left-hander Jose De Paula allow two runs -- one earned -- on two hits and one walk in two innings of relief work to earn the victory.

Chris Heisey stroked an RBI triple and scored once, while Henry Rodriguez, Xavier Paul, and Shin-Soo Choo added an RBI apiece for the Reds.

Pedro Villarreal was pegged with the loss after giving up six runs on seven hits in just one-third of an inning.
