Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Jonathan Galvez drove in a run and scored three times as the San Diego Padres took an 8-6 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday.

Gregorio Petit drove in two runs while Jeremy Baltz scored twice for the Padres, who had 11 hits in the game. Starting pitcher Clayton Richard gave up five runs on nine hits over five innings of work.

Peter Bourjos hit a two-run home run while Mike Trout went 2-for-2 with two runs scored for the Angels, who had 12 hits but committed three errors in the contest.

Joe Blanton was charged with two runs on five hits over five innings of starting work for Anaheim.
