Recap: San Diego vs. Milwaukee

Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Yonder Alonso hit a two-run home run and had three RBI, as the San Diego Padres defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-4, in spring training action.

Cody Ransom hit a solo shot and Cameron Maybin drove in a run for the Padres, who saw starter Eric Stults allow four runs on seven hits over six innings.

Donnie Murphy hit a two-run homer and drove in three runs, but also recorded two errors for the Brewers. Norichika Aoki drove in the other run.

Brewers starter Wily Peralta allowed six runs on 10 hits and walked three batters over 5 1/3 innings.

Winston cleared of FSU conduct violations

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was found not to have violated the university's conduct code over allegations that he sexually assaulted a fellow student in December 2012.
