Recap: Cincinnati vs. San Diego

Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - Ryan Ludwick had a three-run homer and Joey Votto had a two-run blast as the Cincinnati Reds pulled away late to take a 7-3 decision over the San Diego Padres on Wednesday.

Shin-Soo Choo had two hits -- including a solo homer -- and Brandon Phillips scored and plated a run for the Reds, who saw starter Mike Leake last six innings and give up one run on five hits while striking out four batters.

Kyle Blanks went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Dean Anna hit a two-run homer for the Padres. Starter Edinson Volquez gave up one run on two hits over five innings, but walked six batters in defeat.
