Recap: Miami vs. Detroit

Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Jhonny Peralta hit a two-run homer and Miguel Cabrera had two hits, an RBI and scored twice as the Detroit Tigers downed the Miami Marlins, 6-3, on Monday.

Alex Avila, Ramon Santiago and Steven Moya each added an RBI for the Tigers, who saw starter Rick Porcello give up three runs on four hits over six frames.

Rob Brantly hit a solo homer, while Justin Ruggiano and Adeiny Hechavarria added one RBI apiece for the Marlins. Starter Wade LeBlanc gave up four runs on seven hits over five innings.
