Recap: Washington vs. Miami

Viera, FL (Sports Network) - Ryan Zimmerman went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored as Washington slipped past Miami, 8-7, in Grapefruit League play.

Bryce Harper hit a solo home run and scored twice and Zach Walters also hit a solo homer for the Nationals, who got two RBI from Steve Lombardozzi. Chris Young gave up three runs on three hits with two strikeouts and three walks in three innings.

Joe Mahoney hit a two-run home run while Chone Figgins and Christian Yelich added two RBI each for the Marlins. Alex Sanabia was tagged for four runs on five hits over 2 2/3 innings of work.
