Recap: Atlanta vs. Miami

Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - Jason Heyward and Justin Upton hit back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning, as the Atlanta Braves defeated the Miami Marlins, 7-6, in spring training action.

Matt Pagnozzi hit a three-run double for the Braves, who won their first spring training game. Starter Kris Medlen gave up two hits in two scoreless innings.

Six different Miami players scored in the loss. Wade LeBlanc allowed two hits in a scoreless two-inning start for the Marlins, but Scott Maine and Zach Phillips allowed three runs apiece.

Mountain West teams have edge in early bowl matchups
