Recap: St. Louis vs. Miami

Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Matt Holliday and Oscar Taveras each hit two- run homers as the St. Louis Cardinals cruised past the Miami Marlins, 7-2, on Wednesday in spring training action.

Ronny Cedeno, Matt Adams and Rob Johnson also had homers -- all on solo shots -- to provide some late-inning insurance in the victory.

St. Louis starter Jake Westbrook lasted three innings and struck out two batters, while allowing one run on four hits.

Miami's only runs came in the third and seventh innings, as Donovan Solano went 2-for-3 with one RBI and Austin Barnes hit a solo homer. Tom Koehler picked up the loss, lasting 2 1/3 innings and allowing four runs on seven hits -- including both two-run homers.
