Recap: Chicago Cubs vs. Oakland

Mesa, AZ (Sports Network) - Darnell McDonald and Junior Lake each went 2-for-3 with an RBI as the Chicago Cubs posted a 5-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics in a spring training clash.

Dave Sappelt and Christian Villanueva also knocked in runs for the Cubs, who pounded out 12 hits as a team on the afternoon.

Scott Feldman drew the start for Chicago and was touched for one run on two hits while issuing a pair of walks in a two-inning stint.

Brett Anderson yielded just one hit over a sharp two innings for Oakland, which received a solo home run from Derek Norris in defeat. Michael Choice had an RBI triple along with a double for the A's.
