Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Scott Hairston hit a solo home run to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 5-1 win over the Texas Rangers in spring training play on Saturday.

Steve Clevenger had two hits and a run scored while Starlin Castro scored once and drove in one for the Cubs, who got five scoreless innings out of starter Jeff Samardzija.

Mitch Moreland drove in the lone run of the game for the Rangers, who saw starter Nick Tepesch get tagged for three runs on five hits over five innings.
