Recap: Oakland vs. San Francisco

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Oakland starter Dan Straily tossed five innings of shutout ball and the Athletics earned a 4-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants in the teams' final spring training tune-up before Opening Day.

Yoenis Cespedes hit his sixth home run of the spring, a three-run shot in the third inning, to lead the A's offensively. Straily gave up just six hits and struck out five for Oakland, which will begin its season at home against the Seattle Mariners on Monday.

Ryan Vogelsong was charged with the loss for San Francisco. He gave up four runs on six hits over five innings. Guillermo Quiroz clubbed a three-run homer in the defeat.

The Giants will start the season looking to defend their World Series title. They also start on Monday, traveling to Los Angeles to play the Dodgers.
