Recap: LA Angels vs. San Francisco

Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Buster Posey drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning to lift the San Francisco Giants to a 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Sunday.

Hunter Pence drew a walk, then stole second before coming around on Posey's base hit for the Giants, who rallied for three runs in the eighth to tie the game. Starter Barry Zito allowed just on eruns on six hits while striking out four over five innings.

Josh Hamilton drove in a pair of runs, while Mike Trout and Howie Kendrick added an RBI apiece for the Angels, who saw starter Jason Vargas give up just one runs on five hits while striking out five over six-plus innings.
