Recap: NY Yankees vs. Detroit

Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Chris Stewart hit a two-run home run to lead the New York Yankees to a 10-3 win over the Detroit Tigers in spring training action.

Tyler Austin also drove in two runs as did Corban Joseph for the Yankees, who pounded out 13 hits in the win.

Ivan Nova pitched two innings in the start for New York and allowed one hit with one strikeout.

Andy Dirks went 2-for-3 with an RBI while Omar Infante and Kevin Russo each drove in a run for the Tigers. Shawn Hill was touched for two runs -- one earned -- on five hits over 2 2/3 innings of starting work.

Expect points galore when Marshall hosts FAU

Marshall's offense started slowly last Saturday, scoring just 14 points in the first half at Florida International. However, come the final whistle, the Thundering Herd had topped 40 points for the sixth consecutive time.
