Recap: NY Yankees vs. Houston

Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - Brad Peacock allowed one run on two hits over five innings, but the Houston Astros ended up with a 4-4 tie after 10 innings against the New York Yankees in spring training play.

Brandon Barnes hit a solo homer while Chris Carter, Justin Maxwell and Carlos Corporan knocked in a run apiece for the Astros, who were 4-for-12 with runners in scoring position.

Houston reliever Wesley Wright gave up three runs on three hits before being removed before recording a single out in the sixth inning.

CC Sabathia got the start for the Yankees, surrendering four runs on six hits and three walks in five innings.

Brett Gardner, Kevin Youkilis, Chris Stewart and newly acquired Vernon Wells each had an RBI for New York. Travis Hafner went 3-for-4 with a double.

Regan Smith substituted for Kyle Larson in the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway after Larson was sidelined due to additional medical tests following his fainting spell on Saturday.
