Clearwater, FL (Sports Network) - Domonic Brown and Ryan Howard homered, leading Philadelphia to a 4-1 decision over the Yankees in Grapefruit League play.

Michael Young and Steven Lerud added an RBI each, while Chase Utley and Laynce Nix added two hits apiece for the Phillies.

Kyle Kendrick tossed six innings, allowing two hits and an unearned run while striking out three.

Adam Warren took the mound for New York and was charged in the loss for seven hits and two runs over 3 2/3 frames.

Ichiro Suzuki doubled in the Bombers' lone run. Derek Jeter was scratched from the contest due to soreness in his surgically-repaired ankle.
