Recap: Detroit vs. Atlanta

Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Juan Francisco went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer to lead the Atlanta Braves to a 5-3 win over the Detroit Tigers in a Grapefruit League matchup on Wednesday.

Chris Johnson and Joey Terdoslavich also had two hits for the Braves, with each driving in one run.

Tim Hudson allowed a two-run homer to Prince Fielder in the first inning, but bounced back and tossed two perfect frames thereafter to earn the win.

Don Kelly added a solo homer in the sixth for the Tigers, who were swept in last season's World Series by the San Francisco Giants.

Rick Porcello was charged with the loss after giving up Francisco's home run in the top of the first inning. He allowed four hits and struck out two over two innings in the setback.
