Recap: Atlanta vs. Detroit

Kissimmee, FL (Sports Network) - B.J. Upton hit a two-run homer to help Atlanta to a 6-1 win over Detroit in Grapefruit League play.

Dan Uggla and Tyler Pastornicky added solo shots for the Braves, while Justin Upton knocked in a run and scored once.

Mike Minor hurled three scoreless innings for the win, fanning three and allowing one hit.

Doug Fister was rocked for five hits and three runs in two relief innings for the Tigers, whose lone run came on an Aaron Westlake solo homer in the seventh inning.

Regan Smith substituted for Kyle Larson in the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway after Larson was sidelined due to additional medical tests following his fainting spell on Saturday.
