Recap: Atlanta vs. Washington

Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - Tim Hudson fired six shutout innings and Tyler Pastornicky went 2-for-4 with a two-run double, with the pair leading the Atlanta Braves to a 4-3 win over the Washington Nationals in a Grapefruit League matchup.

Reed Johnson also collected two hits for Atlanta, including an RBI single, and Justin Upton belted his fifth home run of the spring in the victory.

Hudson scattered six hits and fanned five Washington hitters without issuing a walk in a sharp tune-up effort.

Ian Desmond and Danny Espinosa each had two hits and an RBI to pace the Nationals offensively. Washington starter Dan Haren struck out five over 5 1/3 innings of work, but was reached for four runs on eight hits.
