Recap: Atlanta vs. NY Mets

Lake Buena Vista, FL (Sports Network) - Andrew Brown hit a two-run homer and Collin Cowgill homered and drove in a pair of runs to lead the New York Mets to a 7-4 win over the Atlanta Braves on Monday.

Jamie Hoffman also had a solo homer and Omar Quintanilla added an RBI for the Mets, who saw starter Dillon Gee give up two hits and strike out seven over six scoreless innings.

Justin Upton and Jason Heyward hit solo homers for the Braves. Starter Mike Minor allowed five runs on six hits -- three homers -- over five innings to absorb the loss.
