Recap: St. Louis vs. Atlanta

Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Matt Adams doubled in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning as St. Louis got past Atlanta, 5-4, in exhibition play.

Matt Carpenter finished with a double, triple and two RBI for the Cards, with Allen Craig adding an RBI.

Michael Wacha got the win after tossing two scoreless frames to end the contest.

Blake DeWitt drove in a pair and Jordan Schafer knocked one home for the Braves.

Mike Minor started, and drove in a run while allowing six hits and four runs over five innings.
