Viera, FL (Sports Network) - Adam LaRoche hit a two-run homer and drove in three, helping Washington take a rain-shortened 9-3 decision over Atlanta in Grapefruit League play.

Danny Espinosa added a three-run shot and Kurt Suzuki drove in a run for the Nationals, while starter Jordan Zimmermann allowed six hits and three runs -- one earned -- with four strikeouts in six innings.

Dan Uggla, Ben Francisco and Taylor Pastornicky knocked in a run each for the Braves.
