Recap: Houston vs. NY Mets

Kissimmee, FL (Sports Network) - New York pitcher Matt Harvey and Houston hurler Bud Norris each allowed one run over two innings of starting work, as the Astros and Mets played to a 7-7 tie on Sunday in spring training action.

Jordany Valdespin hit a two-run homer for the Mets, who opened their spring training schedule with a 5-3 win over Washington on Saturday. Jamie Hoffmann hit a solo homer and scored twice.

Jason Castro hit a two-run homer for Houston, which was coming off an 8-3 victory over Philadelphia in its spring training opener. Fernando Martinez added a solo homer.
