Gio Gonzalez fanned seven and surrendered just a hit and two walks over four scoreless frames for the Nationals, who got RBIs from Denard Span and Bryce Harper.

Mike Baxter had two RBI, while Domingo Tapia allowed four runs -- three earned -- on four hits and two walks over two innings for New York.
