Recap: NY Mets vs. Detroit

Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - Don Kelly clubbed a two-run home run to help the Detroit Tigers defeat the New York Mets, 9-4, on Sunday in spring training action.

Austin Jackson and Omar Infante each added a double and a triple en route to two RBI, while Danny Worth and Prince Fielder registered an RBI and a run scored apiece for the Tigers.

Detroit starter Doug Fister allowed two runs on four hits and four walks over 4 2/3 frames.

Justin Turner collected three hits and scored twice, while Ike Davis, Cory Vaughn and Matthew Reynolds recorded an RBI apiece for the Mets.

New York starter Matt Harvey gave up four runs -- three earned -- on five hits and three walks in five innings.

Regan Smith substituted for Kyle Larson in the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway after Larson was sidelined due to additional medical tests following his fainting spell on Saturday.
