Recap: Houston vs. Washington

Kissimmee, FL (Sports Network) - Anthony Rendon went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI to leas the Washington Nationals to a 9-7 win over the Houston Astros on Wednesday.

Micah Owings went 3-for-5 with a pair of double and two RBI and Matt Skole also drove in a run for the Nationals.

Ross Ohlendorf gave up four runs on five hits over three innings in the start for Washington.

Brandon Lair hit a solo homer, while Carlos Pena, Fernando Martinez and Justin Maxwell each drove in a run for the Astros. Jose Altuve went 3-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in the setback.

Houston Starter Jordan Lyles allowed three runs on six hits over three innings.
