Viera, FL (Sports Network) - Micah Owings smacked a go-ahead grand slam in the seventh inning and the Washington Nationals topped the Houston Astros, 6-3, in spring training action.

Jayson Werth had a solo homer among his two hits for the Nationals, who got four innings of one-run ball from starter Chris Young.

Nate Freiman cracked a two-run shot and Marwin Gonzalez added a solo homer for Houston. Starter Alex White surrendered two runs on seven hits in four innings.
