Recap: Tampa Bay vs. Detroit

St. Petersburg, FL (Sports Network) - Sean Rodriguez hit the tying solo homer in the bottom of the seventh, as Tampa Bay and Detroit battled to a 3-3 deadlock in the spring finale for both clubs.

James Loney contributed two hits including a solo shot, and Ryan Roberts homered for the Rays, who begin their 2013 schedule on Tuesday by hosting Baltimore.

Tampa starter Matt Moore gave up one hit and fanned five in four scoreless innings. Detroit counterpart Doug Fister allowed seven hits and a pair of runs with four strikeouts in his six-inning outing.

Brayan Pena clubbed a two-run homer for the Tigers, who head to Minnesota on Monday to begin the defense of their AL Central crown and American League pennant.
