Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Bryan Holaday ripped a two-run double to help the Detroit Tigers post a 4-1 Grapefruit League win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Torii Hunter added a solo home run for the Tigers, while Justin Verlander allowed one hit and struck out three over four scoreless innings.

The Blue Jays' lone run came via a homer by Jim Negrych.

Toronto starter Brandon Morrow gave up an unearned run on a hit, walked one and fanned three in two-plus innings.
