Recap: Detroit vs. Toronto

Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Austin Jackson delivered a pair of extra-base hits and scored three times to lead the Detroit Tigers to a 4-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in a Grapefruit League clash.

Jackson had a double and a triple in the victory, with Jhonny Peralta adding a solo homer for Detroit and Cecil Fielder collecting two hits in three at-bats.

Tigers starter Rick Porcello threw five solid innings, limiting the Blue Jays to a pair of runs on four hits while striking out four.

Counterpart Ricky Romero also fanned four over the first three frames, but the Toronto lefty was reached for three runs on five hits in suffering the loss.

Andy LaRoche hit his fourth homer of the spring to pace Toronto offensively.
