Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Aaron Hicks went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, as the Minnesota Twins shut out the St. Louis Cardinals, 7-0, in spring training action.

Brandon Boggs hit a solo shot and Trevor Plouffe, Joe Benson and Danny Santana drove in a run apiece. Minnesota starter Cole De Vries fanned two in two perfect innings.

Jon Jay and Daniel Descalso were the only two to register hits for the Cardinals, while St. Louis starter Lance Lynn gave up three runs -- two earned -- on five hits over 2 1/3 innings.
