Recap: Minnesota vs. St. Louis

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Matt Adams drove in two runs and Adron Chambers drove in one -- both in a deciding, three-run ninth inning -- as the St. Louis Cardinals took a 4-3 decision over the Minnesota Twins on Monday.

Adams finished with two hits and three RBI, while Oscar Taveras added four hits for the Cardinals, who saw starter Shelby Miller last 4 1/3 innings and give up one run on six hits.

Joe Mauer had two hits and Darin Mastroianni drove in one run in defeat for the Twins, who saw starter Mike Pelfrey toss five innings of one-run, five-hit ball and strike out four batters in defeat.
