Recap: Houston vs. Chicago Cubs

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Trevor Crowe scored the tying run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth inning, as Houston rallied to tie the Cubs, 6-6, in exhibition play.

Marwin Gonzalez hit a three-run homer and Chris Carter added a pair of doubles and two RBI for the Astros, who have one more preseason contest on tap against Chicago on Saturday.

Starter Alex White allowed three runs on three hits in his one-inning outing. Counterpart Edwin Jackson served up five runs on five hits despite fanning nine over his four frames on the hill.

Alfonso Soriano and Welington Castillo each drove in two runs, while Dioner Navarro added a solo shot for the Cubs.
